Until recently measuring the “signs” of brain disease same way as you might measure heart rate or blood pressure to understand heart disease has been very difficult. Diagnosis has therefore been based assessment of the “symptoms”. PRISM aims to use new techniques to start a new signs, as opposed symptoms, based approach for the diagnosis of brain disorders.
