Coordinator, Project Leader and Project Management Office

Prof Dr Martien Kas is the coordinator of PRISM. The coordinator in collaboration with the project leader is responsible for the overall scientific progress of the project, the quality of the results and  the timely submission of all required documents and reports to the IMI JU. Both the coordinator and the project leader are together the overall leaders of the project.

Dr Hugh Marston is the project leader of PRISM. The project leader in collaboration with the coordinator is responsible for the overall scientific progress of the project and oversees the scientific governance. Both the project leader and the coordinator are together the overall leaders of the project.

The project management office (coordinator, project leader and concentris) is located at concentris in Fürstenfeldbruck (DE), with the coordinator in Groningen (NL) and  the project leader in Basingstoke (UK). The coordinator and project leader are mainly dealing with the scientific management and concentris is taking care of the administrative, financial and contractual management as well as other managerial tasks. The PMO is the central node of communication for PRISM. The project manager is Dr. Barbara Heißerer at concentris.

The coordination team advises the coordinator and project leader on the strategic direction of the project and also supports them in the day-to-day monitoring of the scientific implementation and progress of PRISM. The coordination team consists of the coordinator (Prof Kas), the project leader (Dr Marston & Dr Steckel-Hamann), concentris (Dr Heißerer), Prof Brenda Pennix (VUMC) as representative of a public body and Dr Bernd Sommer (Boehringer Ingelheim) as EFPIA representative.
